Data, Cookies, Security and Account Retention

We handle your personal data with a clear internal policy covering what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and who can access it.

Data Collection

We collect the minimum data needed to verify your identity, process payments through UPI, Paytm or PhonePe and keep your account secure. We do not sell your data to third-party advertisers or marketing platforms.

Cookie Use

Our site uses functional, analytical and session cookies. Functional cookies are required for the lobby and wallet to operate; analytical cookies help us improve page performance. You can manage non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Account Security

Accounts are protected by password hashing, two-step login prompts for unrecognised devices and automatic session expiry after a period of inactivity. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported to support immediately for a security review.

Data Retention

We retain transaction records and identity documents for the period required by applicable Indian financial regulations. Once the retention window closes, data is securely deleted from our systems unless you request earlier removal.

Your Access Rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold on your account at any time. Requests are fulfilled within 30 days. If any data is inaccurate, contact us and we will correct it promptly after verifying the change with you.

Policy Updates

When we update our Terms, Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy in a material way, we email your registered address at least seven days before changes take effect. Continued use of your account after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

We operate under the jurisdiction applicable to your region. Access to 9xm is subject to local law and is available where local law permits. Indian accounts are subject to Indian legal norms, and disputes are handled under those frameworks unless stated otherwise in the Terms.

Submit a data-access request through your account settings or email our compliance team with your account ID. We will compile and send you a structured copy of all personal data we hold within 30 days of receiving your verified request.

Yes. You may request deletion of your personal data subject to our legal retention obligations. Records required under Indian financial regulations must be kept for the statutory period, but all other personal data will be permanently removed upon a verified deletion request.

Transaction records processed through UPI, Paytm or PhonePe are retained for the period mandated by Indian financial and anti-money-laundering rules. After that statutory period ends, the records are securely deleted. Account closure does not accelerate this retention window.

If you disagree with a decision made on your account, you may raise a formal dispute through our support chat or by email. Our compliance team reviews the matter, applies our Terms of Use and responds with a written finding within five business days.

We notify you by email to your registered address at least seven days before any material policy change takes effect. The updated documents are also published on this page with a revision date so you can review exactly what changed before the update applies.
